Certain things make the alternative sites swarm with a volley of discussion. Angelina Jolie's choice to have a double mastectomy most certainly is one of them. Most alternative sites view her as the latest victim of the cancer industry and another sees her as part of a clever marketing scheme. Angelina's choice really does not matter much to me, but I will say that it is terrible to encourage healthy women to mutilate their bodies in the name of prevention! Genetics loads the gun, yes, I agree with that. Lifestyle, however, pulls the trigger. One can choose to trump the faulty genes they're born with. One can choose to have oxygen rich blood by having a diet that is high in chlorophyl. (Cancer cannot exist in an oxygen rich body, so... drink green smoothies!) One can choose to "overdose" on cruciferous vegetables. One can choose to increase vitamin D levels. One can choose an alkaline diet and avoid foods that trigger cancer (e.g., animal products, processed foods, GMO's, conventionally raised foods, etc.). One can choose to avoid chemicals in their body care products and environment and practice the art of creating joy! So much more fun than going under the scalpel! Here is an article by Natural Society on the topic and another by Health Impact Daily News. I believe that if someone is hell bent on creating cancer by lifestyle choices, cancer will find another area of the body to set up shop, mastectomy or not.
Here are some other factors to take into consideration. Having a mastectomy creates $50,000 for the cancer industry! The cancer industry has vehemently attacked any effective alternative cancer treatment with such ferocity. Slander, maim and destroy anyone who can cure cancer is their motto! Hmmm? What are they so afraid of? Are they trying to protect their cash cow? Here is an article by Natural Society that discusses this issue.
Since I'm on the topic of cancer, I thought I would inform you of another online cancer summit that will be taking place. Mike Adams and Natural News are the hosts of this one. It will begin Monday May 20 (sorry for the late notice) and has a guest speaker who has a high success rate of reversing cancer, Dr. James Forsythe, M.D. Need more info? Read through my cancer file for all my posts on cancer which include documentaries, therapies and resources.
Here's to preventing cancer AND keeping our breasts! Have a great day!
